Action Tokens

Have you been following along on our Instagram account? If so, I'm sure you've noticed some sneak peaks of some of the components in our game, Mythic Gems. If not, you should go check us out @tntcreativegaming and see if you can interpret what each of the action tokens does. Obviously, you won't need to act out the actions in real life when you play the game, but we sure had some fun creating our own live action version of the tokens.

None of this would have been possible without the support of all of the colored players who stepped up and helped us act these out. Yes, that even means the yellow player whose scenes took a few extra tries. I guess that's why we put an age limit on the game. But please enjoy one of the bloopers below.

Although we didn't create a live action video for all the action tokens, we're sure you're going to love each of their abilities. And speaking of the action tokens, we're excited to state that we just wrapped up filming a how to play video for those people who don't like reading the rule book...trust me, I know there are many of you out there.

In addition to the video explaining how to play, we also filmed an extra section that breaks down each of the action tokens. Although we can't claim to be experts on the best way to play the tokens (I've only won the game a few times...and I've played a lot) we thought this might be a helpful place for you to start. The video will most likely go live while we are in the middle of the Kickstarter so you shouldn't have too long to wait.

Now for a quick little update on what we're currently up to. Ben and I are building our Kickstarter page! As we add more and more detail to the page it's really starting to make this feel real. We're locking in the pricing, working closely with our manufacturer, and verifying all of our shipping and logistics are in place. Aside from Kickstarter, we're still building our social media following and learning how to film reals for Instagram. We are open to any and all advice and should probably reach out to our high school cousins for some tips and tricks. I also heard a rumor that Ben may start a TikTok soon. Don't quote me on that since it's mostly peer pressure at this point...but maybe.
